1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal 350/30 Ty Cobb (Portrait-Red) SGC Poor 1. This card features Ty Cobb, one of baseball's greatest players, known for his fierce competitiveness and astounding career achievements. The reverse features a "Sweet Caporal - 350 Subjects" brand ad and a factory 25 caption. The T206 series, often referred to as "The Monster" due to its vast size and the challenge of completing the set, is one of the most celebrated collections of baseball cards ever produced. This specific Cobb card, one of four poses of Cobb found in the T206 set, is his Portrait with a red backdrop. The image seemingly captures Cobb in a moment of calm. Like the calm before a storm.
