1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal 350/30 Ty Cobb (Portrait-Red) PSA Good 2. It's nice to have options. For card collectors, the four Ty Cobb cards from the T206 White Border issue are almost too much as each has its own special characteristics, when put up against the idiosyncrasies and delicate differences created by the printing process and the passage of time. They are all collected due to their star appeal quite certainly but also for their aesthetic qualities. Our offered card is his classic "Portrait-Red" pose. It often serves as the first card of Cobb many collectors encounter and is responsible for more than just a few "love at first sight" situations.A very attractive example with precision centering and modest corner tip wear. The back of our "Portrait-Red" example displays a "Sweet Caporal - 350 Subjects" ad with a factory 30 caption. The bold colors camouflage the horizontal crease and are richly complemented by the clean white frame. Graded PSA Good 2.
