1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal 150/30 Mike Powers SGC 70 EX+ 5.5. Offered is a 1909-11 T206 White Border tobacco card featuring Mike Powers with the Philadelphia Athletics. The A's catcher is well known to some as being one of the more scarce subjects in the series. The reverse displays a "Sweet Caporal - 150 Subjects" advertisement with a factory 30 caption. This is his only card in the series on which he is featured. Graded SGC 70 EX+ 5.5. A very clean and appealing example with a bright white border. Even the reverse deserves kudos for the boldly print that truly brings out the blazing red of the Sweet cap. ad.Auction Info
