1909-11 T206 Sovereign 150 Walter Johnson (Portrait) PSA EX 5. There are hundreds of Walter Johnson T206s which have passed the eye of PSA graders but less than forty feature the iconic "Portrait" of Walter Johnson with a scarcer "Sovereign Cigarettes - 350 Subjects" back. This timeless, elegant portrait of the "Big-Train" is one of the most widely recognized and admired of all of the T206s portraits and is unmistakably a product of Carl Horner's talents. The offered example has no creases, wrinkles, surface loss and very clean surfaces. The borderline perfect centering is a nice added bonus. Graded PSA EX 5. Overall, PSA has graded over 1,000 cards. Forty-four are confirmed with a Sovereign back. This is one one of only two in EX with five graded higher.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
