Description
1909-11 T206 Piedmont/Sweet Caporal Patsy Dougherty (Portrait) Print Oddities Pair (2). Offered is a pair of 1909-11 T206 cards featuring Patsy Dougherty of the Chicago White Sox. Dougherty was a man of firsts as the first to hit for the cycle in a World Series, the first Boston player to hit a World Series home run and the first player to lead off with a inside the park home run in a World Series game. Both of these cards have unique qualities. Includes: 1) Jumbo sized with no caption along the top where the caption for that row on the sheet should be. Standard dual color blend background. Graded PSA VG-EX 4, and 2) and second jumbo sized card with the caption along the top belonging to the card on that row and the standard name/team caption along the bottom. Background is a pleasing slate grey due to a missing color pass which is seen on the other card. Graded SGC VG 3.Auction Info
