1909-11 T206 Piedmont - Series 150 Carl Lundgren, Chicago PSA NM 7. Carl Lundgren debuted in 1902 with the Chicago Cubs. From 1903 through 1907 he was a very successful young hurler who posted a 76-36 (.667) W-L record and a 2.23 ERA. Then his career fell of a cliff, coming to a close in 1909 where he pitched in on two games for the pride of the Chicago North side. He appears as a Cub in the "150 Subjects" series of the T206 White Border series before it was noted he went to Kansas City for the "350 Subjects" portion of the mammoth promotion. Cards with the "Lundgren, Chicago Natl." caption are not the easiest T206's to acquire.

Graded PSA NM 7. Very bold colors and a precisely registered portrait nicely compliment a bright white and problem free border. The back is very mildly affected by some sheet transfer and is otherwise just as problem free as the front. Looking at the census numbers this card goes over a condition cliff as only a handful are recorded in "NM" or better. That makes this one of the top 2% of the recorded population.
