Description

1909-11 T206 Piedmont Johnny Evers (Portrait) PSA EX-MT 6. Of the trio of poses devoted to Evers, his "Portrait" with the distinct Green Background - seen here - is by far his most striking depiction! Evers' penetrating gaze on this marvelously well-conceived insert commands special reverence as it challenges in authority the stern glare of the Georgia Peach himself. It is a hundred-year-old classic that boasts enduring appeal, and is offered in a state of very pleasing level of preservation that will hopefully inspire fascination for yet another century. Evers entered the Hall of Fame just six months before his death, he was the last surviving member of the famous double-play combo of Tinker to Evers to Chance. Very nice card with a strong portrait that is surrounded by a clean and bright white border. The back displays a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" with a Factory 25 designation reverse. Graded PSA EX-MT 6.
