1909-11 T206 Piedmont Hugh Jennings, Portrait SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 - The Finest T206 Jennings In an SGC Holder! Hugh Jennings saw the greatest period of development the spry young sport of baseball has yet to match. Regardless of his role, success was the result. He was an excellent shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles who won National League championships in 1894, 1895 and 1896, batting .401 in 1896 on 209 hits. With Brooklyn, Jennings made them pennant winners in 1899 and 1900. With the help of Crawford and Cobb, he won pennants in 1907, '08 and 1909. Graded SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5. This is the only T206 of Jennings graded NM/MT+. Pick any brand, pick and any pose of Jennings and you will not find a higher graded example. A search for detractors was no easy task. All we find is the slight shift in centering and the very slight wear at one outer corner tip. The other corners are mint. Collectors know that just a precious few ultra-high quality cards from this most beloved of tobacco issues still exist.
