Description

1909-11 T206 Piedmont Chief Myers (Fielding) PSA NM 7 - Only Three Higher. Chief Meyers is a largely over looked player of the early 20th Century and we are at a loss for. Meyers was a member of the Cahuilla tribe who at the high-school level and attended Dartmouth college. A media favorite who toured art museums, Meyers even became part of the vaudeville circuit and served with the United States Marines in World War I. This is a very nice example of his T206 "Fielding" pose, rated largely for centering. "Piedmont - 350 Subjects" with a Factory 25 designation reverse. Graded PSA NM 7. Of confirmed Piedmont backs, only three examples have received a higher rating.
