    Description

1909-11 T206 Piedmont 150 Ed Walsh SGC Authentic. One of the Dead Ball Era's premier hurlers, the big right-hander Walsh posted an eye-popping forty and fifteen record for the Chicago White Sox in 1908, drawing a bit of attention from the crosstown Cubs who were enjoying what would prove to be their last World Championship season for the century to come. When this card appeared Ed was coming off a 40-win 1908 season. Offered is this T206 tobacco card example featuring a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" advertising with a factory 25 caption. Graded SGC Authentic. Card displays brilliant colors and modest corner tip wear.
