1909-11 T206 Piedmont 150 Cy Young (Portrait) PSA NM 7. Cy Young amassed almost 100 more victories than any other pitcher to step on a mound. To claim it will never be topped is an easy statement. The truth is it is a benchmark that will likely never be seriously approached. The annual Cy Young award exhibits the fact that no other pitcher's name is so completely synonymous with baseball excellence as Young's. His T206 portrait, the work of noted photographer Carl Horner is the quintessential portrait of Young so many have become accustomed to. Few cards demand more awe and amazement than does this card in any condition. We are pleased to say this brilliant collectible is a worthy showpiece of the famed 511-game winner.Graded PSA NM 7. Overall, one of seventeen in NM with fourteen rated higher. Of the cards confirmed with this pose/brand/factory combination, it reigns as the lone card graded NM with three higher. This cards has become nothing short of an all-time hobby classic. The reverse displays a crisp and boldly printed "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" ad with a factory 25 caption. The obverse offers a brilliant white frame that plays host to just one speck of extra ink. Printer alignment marks are clearly visible at center top and bottom. His portrait is nicely centered with the deepest, richest colors imaginable. Visual impact exceeds the already impressive physical quality. Many collector approach "The Monster" with the goal of acquiring every T206 portrait. Cy Young is a key name on that roster and this is an example that we can't imagine anyone being disappointed with.
