Description

1909-11 T206 Old Mill Rube Marquard (Follow Through) PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Three, One Higher! Hall of Fame pitcher Richard Marquard won 201 games during his 18-year major league career. "Rube" was a sensation by the age of 21 when he debuted with the New York Giants. The franchise paid a then-record $11,000 to secure his talents for the Giants pitching staff. Offered is his "Follow Through" pose, one of three different poses of Marquard found in this classic series. The back displays scarcer "Old Mill" advertising with a Factory 25 caption. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Counting all brands, this is one of three in NM-MT with one higher but "Pop One, None Higher!" with an Old Mill back.
