Description

1909-11 T206 El Principe De Gales Mordecai Brown, Portrait SGC 50 VG/EX 4. Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown, shown here in his portrait variation from the T206 issue. This example has a nice red background with light wear to the edges but ultimately centering and a small crease toward the bottom left corner validate the grade given by SGC. Brown was an integral part of the Cubs success in the first decade of the 20th century and made it to Baseball's Hall of Fame despite losing parts of two fingers. This solid middle-grade card has been assessed SGC 50 VG/EX 4 with a scarcer "El Principe De Gales" brand reverse. Adding no premium for the scarcer brand, the SMR value is $410.00
