    Description

1909-11 T206 Cycle 460 Ty Cobb (Portrait-Red) PSA VG-EX+ 4.5 - Pop One, Only Two Higher For Brand. There is a short list of baseball cards that grabs your attention every time you see one. The Ty Cobb portrait card with the blazing red background from the classic T206 White Borders series is one of those cards. Your attention is truly rewarded with the offered example thanks to the richly colored imagery with virtually un-improvable colors, all complimented by the clean, bright white border. Precise print registration, which can be an issue with this card, results in a crisp tight portrait. Almost too much to ask for is the rarely seen "Cycle Cigarettes - 460 Subjects" reverse! Centering maybe a hairline away from perfection. The colors of his classic portrait are deep and saturated with precise print registration. Ideal mi0grade card with no major flaws. Graded PSA VG-EX+ 4.5. Currently, PSA has graded over 2,000 examples but only seven are confirmed with the Cycle 460 brand/series. Our offered card is the only card graded VG-EX+ with two higher.
