    Description

1909-11 T206 American Beauty 350-With Frame Ty Cobb (Portrait-Red) PSA EX 5 - Pop One, One Higher For Brand. A "peach" of a card featuring Ty Cobb, the man who still holds the highest mark for lifetime batting average at .367. There are two versions of the American Beauty Cigarettes advertising to be found on the backs of T206 cards - with and without a decorative border surrounding the green typography. Because of the size of the original cigarette packaging in which they were a premium insert, American Beauty T206s are a bit narrower than the standard 1-7/16" but no less treasured by T206 specialists. This is a strong example modestly affected by corner wear and horizontal centering. Currently, PSA has graded 2,000+ examples but only a dozen are confirmed with the American Beauty 350-With Frame brand/series. Graded PSA EX 5. Our offered card is the only card graded EX with one higher.
