1907-09 Novelty Cutlery Honus Wagner SGC 30 Good 2 - Only Three SGC Graded Examples! The Novelty Cutlery series is a scarce 25-card promotion that managed to include no less than 15 future members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Of those names there are all-time greats like Lajoie, Speaker, Mathewson, Cobb and this man - Honus Wagner. What a fantastic image of Wagner about to add to his hits count. "Novelty Cutlery" is one of several postcard editions that promoted an exciting era in baseball history.This series is so scarce there are still just over one hundred twenty noted on the SGC census for the entire set. Collectors are not shy about grading Honus Wagner cards, yet somehow, SGC has graded only Three. Graded SGC 30 Good 2. This is the second finest example on record with SGC! Postcard collectors are a passionate class, and if history repeats itself, there will be fierce competition for this highly coveted gem.
