In 1905 the legendary Connie Mack skippered his Philadelphia Athletics to their second AL pennant under his guidance. Here we present a scarce postcard featuring a team photo of the 1905 squad which remains a top collectible for its exceptional image and lack of any significant condition issues. Officially titled - Philadelphia American League Base Ball Team ("ATHLETICS"). each player is identified across the bottom with standouts including Rube Waddell, Chief bender and Eddie Plank.
