    Description

1905-11 W600 Sporting Life Napoleon Lajoie (Uniform) PSA EX-MT 6 - Total Pop Two, By Far the Finest of the Pair. The exquisite Carl Horner photograph of the Hall of Fame second baseman acts as the centerpiece of this series as the source employed on Lajoie's T206, Fan Craze, Souvenir PC and E96 appearances. The same portrait is seen on his rookie card debut in the historical E107 Breisch Williams edition. The central images of these large and impressive cabinets unarguably hold a highly elevated level of glamour and desirability. The hobby is indebted to the Sporting Life for producing these spectacular treasures. The portrait seems all too appropriate for upholding the regality of one of the most revered players in the hobby.

Graded PSA EX-MT 6. This copy is by far the highest graded example (the only other is an "Authentic") from a painfully meager census total of just two! The image is captioned with Lajoie's name, positions (he was a player manager), club affiliation, and the surrounding features including an embossed advertisement for Sporting Life. This mount is a "Type 4" format utilized from 1905 to 1911. A key Hall of Famer from a difficult series considering the comprehensive scope of the issue.
