Description

1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Rube Waddell SGC Poor 1. The E107 Breisch-Williams series set includes stars of who literally spanned the centuries. With complete sets an extremely attained goal, every vintage collector should have at least one E107 in his/her collection. How about a Hall of Famer? Our offered card features Hall of Fame pitcher Rube Waddell of the Philadelphia Athletics. Waddell was perhaps the flakiest and most undependable major league star of all time. He was both a manager's dream and nightmare. His portrait, done by Carl Horner is modestly affected by physical faults leaving us with a card with elevated eye appeal.

Graded SGC Poor 1. There are only eight cards noted on the SGC census and for this set that is practically "common" . The portrait of the Hall of Fame pitcher is affected by creases, soiling and surface marring. This is the earliest insert card appearance by Rube and is considered by many to be his rookie card debut.
