1903 E107 Breisch Williams Addie Joss Rookie PSA Good 2 - Only Three Graded by PSA. The E107 series was the only comprehensive set of baseball cards to appear between the 1895 Mayo Cut Plug series and the golden age of 20th Century cards that began in 1909. Because of when they appeared, the E107 set is the source many rookie card appearances. The offered rookie card is of Hall of Fame pitcher Addie Joss of the Cleveland Naps. Joss made his debut in 1902. During his nine-year career, Joss had three seasons where he won 20+ games and five seasons with an ERA under 2.00. He appeared in 286 games (45 were shutouts) before his career came to an abrupt end in April 1911 when he succumbed tuberculosis meningitis. The portrait is the work of Carl Horner. Graded PSA Good 2. This example is one of only three graded by PSA. Joss is a Hall of Fame member of special regard It is befitting his card debut is part of the most historically significant productions in the hobby.
