1895 N300 Mayo's Cut Plug Amos Rusie (sic Russie) PSA Good 2 - Pop Three, Three Higher. Amos Rusie was the "Wild Thing" prototypical fireball pitcher, capable of striking out many batters, while also walking many batters. His erratic control didn't impact his win-loss record too greatly, however, and he made it to the Hall of Fame. This card of "The Hoosier Thunderbolt" from the N300 Mayo's Cut Plug set has been graded PSA Good 2 due to adhesive residue on the reverse. It features corner and edge wear, common to this issue due to its black border. Centering is not perfect, but this is a nice strong image of this legend.Guide Value or Estimate: $3,000 - up.
