1895 N300 Mayo Cut Plug John Ward (Retired) SGC 60 EX 5 - Pop Two, None Higher. The Mayo Cut Plug series was very good about updating cards to record major team or career changes. In the case of pioneer and HoFer John "Monte" Ward, he never played or managed during the 1895 season which was noted on this version of his N300 that reads "Retired." Graded SGC 60 EX 5. From a total pop of only twenty-three examples. This is the one of only two cards graded EX. There are none rated higher.Auction Info
