1888 N162 Goodwin "Champions" Timothy Keefe SGC 70 EX+ 5.5 - Only Three Higher. This is an impressive example of what is considered the most attractive collectible to feature the Hall of Fame pitcher. Keefe was a feared competitor who is credited with having the first great change-up in baseball, and as one of baseball's first 300 game winners retiring with 342 career victories. From 1883 to 1888 he won at least 32 games each season. The card is almost perfectly centered with just minor hints of wear at corner tips. Inks have remained vibrant and glossy, the reverse displays excellent print quality plus a problem free surface. Graded SGC 70 EX+ 5.5. One of three graded EX+ with three higher.Auction Info
