1888 N162 Goodwin "Champions" Timothy Keefe SGC 35 Good+ 2.5. From a new to the hobby collection. Offered is what is considered the most attractive collectible to feature HoF pitcher Tim Keefe. Keefe was a feared competitor who is credited with having the first great change-up in baseball and is also one of baseball's first 300 game winners retiring with 342 career victories. From 1883 to 1888 he won at least 32 games each season. Immediately, one realizes why this Goodwin release is thought to be the finest set ever produced. An excellent card with obvious centering issues and some slight edge roughness on the reverse. Graded SGC 35 Good+ 2.5.Auction Info
