1888-89 N173 Old Judge Cabinet Harry Stovey (#440-8) SGC Fair 1.5. Harry Stovey was a 19th Century talent both on the base paths and in the batter's box that for the most part has gone under appreciated. Afraid of what his family would think, Harry changed his name to "Stovey" from "Stow." At various years Stovey lead the league in slugging, RBIs, runs, triples, home runs and stolen bases. Offered is a scarce N173 Old Judge cabinet of pose #40-8 - Throw, leaning back, R/Hand Chest High in Rear. Graded SGC Fair 1.5. Photo quality is very-good-excellent.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
