    1887-90 N172 Old Judge Wilbert Robinson (#388-2) SGC EX 5. From the St. Louis find of 2019. Wilbert Robinson made his professional debut in 1886 as a catcher for Philadelphia but is best known for his years in Baltimore playing and learning the game aside Ned Hanlon, John McGraw, Hughie Jennings and Kid Gleason. He would go on to be one of the better skippers of the early 20th Century. He is also well known to N172 specialists for being one of the toughest Old Judge HoFers should one want to add one to their collection. The second rarest Old Judge HoFer according "The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company (1886-1890 )." Pose #388-2 - Catch, looking/R up at ball, hands head high. Caption: ROBINSON, C., Athletics. Graded SGC EX 5. Photo Quality: Almost excellent.
