1887-90 N172 Old Judge Wallace Fessenden (#159-3) SGC 55 VG/EX 4. Offered is an 1887-90 N172 Old Judge card featuring Wallace Fessenden. Who is that you ask? Fessenden is largely unknown as his career was an Umpire in 1884 and in 1887 to 1890. He was manager of the Syracuse Stars for a whole whopping 11 games in 1890. He does have four poses in the N172 series, this being #159-3 Leaning right, left hand on thigh. Graded SGC 55 VG-EX+ 4.5.Guide Value or Estimate: $500 - up.
