1887-90 N172 Old Judge Hugh Nicol (Nicholl) - Brown's Champions (#346-1) SGC EX 5. A particularly rare sub-set from the massive N172 Old Judge series were specially designed cards that showcased the 1885 Class AA pennant winners and 1886 World Champion St. Louis Browns! These early commemoratives are highly prized additions with most Goodwin fans happy to acquire one.Offered is a card with the name Nick Nicholl but is misidentified and is actually Hugh Nicol, a right-handed outfielder and second baseman who played for ten years from 1881 to 1890 for three teams, including four years with the Browns. Pose #346-1 Portrait in Striped Cap. Graded SGC EX 5. The one and only card graded EX from a total pop of only eight submissions.
