1887-90 N172 Old Judge Charles Comiskey - Brown's Champions (#86-1) SGC 80 EX/NM 6. Goodwin honored the current champions of the day in their massive promotion creating specially designed cards that showcased the 1885 AA pennant winners and 1886 World Champion St. Louis Browns. A key subject of these are commemoratives is HoFer Charles Comiskey. When issued, who would have guessed he would command one of the best AL teams ever assembled and make history as owner due to scandal that still shakes the baseball world. Pose #86-1 and by far the most difficult of the six Comiskey Old Judge entries. Graded SGC 80 EX/NM 6. Photo quality: Excellent. This is the finest of just five graded by SGC!Auction Info
