2012 National Treasures Legends Jumbo Bat Lou Gehrig #5 BGS NM-MT+ 8.5, Serial # 3/10. From the ultra high-end 2012 National Treasures product comes this premium booklet card of "The Iron Horse." Serial numbered on the front of the booklet #03/10 with the moniker "Legends", when the card is unfolded there is a nice photograph of Gehrig on the left. The right inside panel of the booklet contains a massive 1.75x2" panel of wood from a game used Gehrig bat. Notated on either side of the bat is "Authentic Game Used" as well as the Panini guarantee on the reverse. Very little Gehrig game-used material is on the market, making swatches and pieces an affordable way for collectors to acquire a piece of something used in a game by "Larrupin' Lou." Graded BGS NM-MT+ 8.5 on the booklet and slabbed with the bat section open facing the viewer. The card presents as a solid Mint or better exemplar.
