2009 Bowman Chrome Mike Trout (Draft Picks & Prospects Refractor) #BDPP89 PSA Mint 9, Auto 10, #'d 379/500. The ultimate five-tool player, Trout has slugged in the top 4 for the American League in each of his ten Angels campaigns, and, at .583 for his career, finds himself north of some names that may sound familiar--Stan Musial, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, etc. Our offered card finds the best active ballplayer in the game at the tender age of seventeen, recently selected with the twenty-fifth pick in the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Millville (NJ) Senior High. He'd bat a scorching .352 in his first year of minor league ball that year, a clear harbinger of the brilliance that would soon make him a hero in Anaheim. As he ascended to the big leagues Trout has dominated every facet of the game. A Triple Crown threat each season, Trout just keeps getting better and better with time.
