The 2000 Upper Deck Game Jersey Kobe Bryant #KB-PA is a landmark card that exemplifies the early era of premium memorabilia inserts that have gradually come to dominate the 21st-century trading card marketplace. Released in Series Two of Upper Deck's 2000-01 set, this seminal commemorative features a game-used jersey patch and an on-card autograph from Bryant, both highly coveted elements among collectors. Each card is hand-numbered from a limited edition of just eight, aligning with Bryant's jersey number, and was available exclusively in hobby packs inserted at a rate of 1:5,000 packs.

The card showcases a dynamic image of Bryant driving to the basket in opposition to fellow Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, captured during Game 4 of the 2000 NBA Playoffs by photographer Nathaniel S. Butler. This period marked a significant phase in Bryant's career, as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to their first NBA championship since 1988.
