1981 Topps Kirk Gibson #315 PSA Gem Mint 10. Kirk Gibson had a nice playing career spanning 17 years but is most remembered for the game-winning home run he hit in the ninth inning of Game 1 versus the Oakland Athletics. Gibson wasn't expected to play at all in the 1988 World Series after injuring both legs in the NLCS, but in his only plate appearance in Game 1, he changed the outcome of not only the game, but the series. Offered is his rookie card that has earned a PSA Gem Mint 10 rating for its beautiful colors and near perfect centering. Only seven out of nearly 600 submissions have received the Gem Mint rating. The SMR value is $1500.00.
