    Description

1980 WBTV Cal Ripken Jr. #16 PSA NM-MT 8 - None Higher. Cal Ripken is one of the few baseball legends who never left his home state during his Hall of Fame career. The Aberdeen, Maryland native eventually played for his hometown Orioles and broke one of baseball's seemingly unmatchable records as he surpassed Lou Gehrig for consecutive games played. From Ripken's final pre-Orioles days we offer his 1980 WBTV card with Ripken featured on card #16 (with his name mis-spelled "Ripkin" on the reverse). Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of thirteen in NM-MT with none rated higher.
