1980 Topps Nolan Ryan #580 SGC Gem Mint 10 - Pop One! Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan put together one of the most impressive pitching careers in MLB history. A hard-throwing hurler from Alvin, Texas, Ryan got his start in the Major Leagues with the burgeoning New York Mets in 1968, and then helped the club win the World Series title in 1969. He then moved to the California Angels, Houston Astros and, eventually, the Texas Rangers which is where he retired after 27 seasons in the big leagues. Overall, he tallied 324 wins, 5,714 K's and seven no-hitters. His induction into Cooperstown took place in 1999.

Presented is a 1980 Topps card that captures the "Ryan Express" during his time with the Angels. Its shows him bringing the heat with yet another fastball to the plate. This example of card #580 from the '80 Topps set is found in immaculate condition with rich color, perfect centering, snow white borders, four solid corners and a flawless reverse. Graded PSA Gem Mint 10. Of the more than 1,400 examples found in the SGC Pop Report, this is the only example graded GEM MINT.
