1979 Topps Nolan Ryan #115 PSA Gem Mint 10. Flame-thrower Nolan Ryan was a powerful righthander who earned the well-deserved nickname "Ryan's Express." He brought the heat to every game he started and rang up 324 wins over his 27-year career in the Major Leagues. Though he finished his career more than 30 years ago, he still owns two MLB records that will likely never be broken: 5,714 strikeouts and seven no-hitters. And despite never winning the prized Cy Young Award, Ryan was a first-ballot inductee into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.Offered is a 1979 Topps card (#115) that shows Ryan going into his windup, about to deliver another pitch as a member of the California Angels. The immaculate card is bursting with color, shows no surface wear, boasts bright white borders with four sharp corners, and has a squeaky clean reverse. Graded PSA Gem Mint 10. Of the nearly 7,500 examples found in the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only 13 cards graded GEM MINT.
