Description

1975 Topps Fred Lynn - Rookie Outfielders #622 PSA Gem Mint 10. Presented is the 1975 Topps "Rookie Outfielders" card that features four players who packed plenty of potential: Cincinnati's Ed Armbrister, Boston's Fred Lynn, Kansas City's Tom Poquette, and Terry Whitfield of the New York Yankees. Lynn, who recorded an incredible rookie campaign for the Red Sox, is no doubt the top draw on this card. In 1975, he batted .331 with 47 doubles, 21 home runs and 105 RBI to become the first player in MLB history to capture the ROY and MVP awards simultaneously. Seattle's 27-year-old rookie, Ichiro Suzuki, repeated the feat in 2001. This example of card #622 from the colorful '75 Topps series is found in Gem Mint condition with great color, perfect centering, unchipped full-bleed borders, four razor-sharp corners, and a squeaky clean reverse. Graded PSA Gem Mint 10. Of the 2,435 examples examined by PSA, this is one of only 20 cards graded GEM MINT.
