Description

1974 Topps Nolan Ryan #20 PSA Gem Mint 10. Nolan Ryan is a Hall of Fame pitcher who mowed down 5,714 batters in his path during his 27-year career in the Major Leagues. He earned the nickname "Ryan's Express" by virtue of the heat he threw off the rubber in every game in pitched. Overall, he recorded 324 wins that included a record seven no-hitters. And even though he never won the coveted Cy Young Award, Ryan was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame as a first-ballot inductee in 1999.

Offered is a 1974 Topps card (#20) that shows Ryan about to unleash another fastball to home plate as a member of the California Angels. The card is found in Gem Mint condition with outstanding color and clarity, no signs of any surface wear, snow white borders with four strong corners, and reveals a flawless reverse. Graded PSA Gem Mint 10. Of the more than 7,200 examples found in the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only seven cards graded GEM MINT.
