1973 Topps Mike Schmidt - Rookie 3rd Basemen #615 SGC NM/MT 8. Mike Schmidt, regarded as one of the greatest third basemen in MLB history, began his career with the Philadelphia Phillies in the early 1970s and would go on to win three MVP awards, 10 Gold Gloves, and a World Series title. Known for his powerful bat and exceptional defense, Schmidt became the face of the Phillies franchise and a cornerstone of 1980s baseball excellence.
