1973 Topps Candy Lids Gaylord Perry (Proof) PSA Authentic. In the early 1970's, Topps produced "Baseball Starts Bubble Gum." Circular containers were filled with candy and inserted inside the top lid was a round card featuring baseball players. The 55 different subjects includes a lengthy list of the best names of the era. Offered is HoFer Gaylord Perry, fully printed but not die-cut, hand cut to the traditional 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" card size. Coincidence or did Topps have plans to package them this way?
