1972 Topps Test Cloth Sticker Hank Aaron PSA NM-MT 8. Hammerin' Hank poses with one of his weapons of choice for his entry from this 1972 Topps series. A close review shows this ordinary 2-1/2"x 3-1/2" card is in fact an extraordinary 1972 Topps Hank Aaron collectible. This is actually very rare Topps test cloth sticker card and is one of only two graded by PSA to date. Considering the other like example known is a "4," this is by far the finest recorded example available. The easily loosened backing paper slip has remains unbudged and solidly attached, and the fragile fibrous strands, which by their appearance reveal the progress of dissolution, are almost non-existent. The one lone fiber along the top edge and one slightly touched corner keep this stunning find from an unbelievable Mint state. With so few examples known and more not very likely to be found almost 40 years later, this is one Aaron treasure almost impossible to improve upon. A certain head turner for Hank Aaron specialists one and all.
