1971 Topps Willie Mays #600 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher! By 1971 Willie Mays had already passed the 600 home runs plateau. Not since Ruth had gum-chewing, card lovers had the opportunity to pull a card of a member of the 600 Home Runs club out of a pack of cards. When this card appeared you an still see the determination in his eyes that made him Rookie of the Year as talk of his pursuit of Ruth was being whispered. This representation of one of his later Topps cards and it appears the card came straight from the pack to this holder. Graded PSA Mint 9. There are no discernible hints of wear to be found and if centering is off it is a hairline away from perfection. A beauty deserving of its Mint designation. One of a dozen graded MINT with none higher! It has been five years since Heritage has been able to offer this card in Mint condition to our clients. The PSA pop numbers from that sale has not changed.
