Description

1971 Topps Roberto Clemente #630 PSA Mint 9 - Only One Higher. The iconic Hall of Fame outfielder Roberto Clemente was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1954 rule 5 draft. Not a bad choice considering Clemente played for 18 seasons in the Steel City and collected exactly 3,000 hits. On his 1962 Topps card #10, Clemente is captured here in his easygoing stance that erupted when he'd make contact with the ball. This is a high quality card that carries a PSA Mint 9 assessment, a very tough judgment for this condition sensitive issue. From a total population of over 2,000 submissions, this card is one of only fifteen in Mint with one higher.
