Description

The one and only finest of its kind!

1971 Topps Roberto Clemente #630 PSA Gem Mint 10. The 1971 Topps edition is both revered and feared for the deep black full-bleed design that seems to have been tailor-made to amplify every tiny flaw. Finding cards in the highest-quality state is a task suited only for the most patient and enterprising hobbyist.

It's well worthy of note that most Clemente pieces--even the scarcest breeds--exist in at least small multiples. Even the card often regarded as the "Holy Grail" of Clemente items--the 1968 Topps "3-D"--has been documented by PSA in quantities that give rise to hope. Of that card, six copies have been graded PSA Mint 9, and another half-dozen are rated PSA GEM MT 10. In other words, it's downright common compared to the offered representation of Clemente's most endangered species.

Graded PSA Gem MT 10, the one and only example of its kind that's been validated by that company, from a total population of now over 2,200 submissions. For this incredible Gem Mint card, there are no equivalent counterparts, no equals. Truly, this is one of the ultimate Roberto Clemente collectibles. Its showpiece appearance readily affirms the item's lofty grading assessment. A spectacular, one-of-a-kind rarity depicting the legendary Hall of Famer, in true Gem Mint condition.
