Description
1969 Topps Super Pete Rose #41 PSA Gem Mint 10. The 1969 Topps "Super Baseball Cards" set consists of just 66 cards. The set derives its name from a "super colorful" high-gloss finish which enhances a bright color photograph used on their fronts. Another design element on the front is a facsimile autograph, while an unusual feature is that the cards all have rounded corners. Offered is a 1969 Topps Super card of Cincinnati Reds mainstay Pete Rose. Though not boasting the most flattering photo of "Charlie Hustle," the card (#41) is considered scare. Issued as a separate set from the regular '69 Topps issue, Topps Super cards are a lot harder to come by. This example is found in immaculate condition.
