Description

1969 Topps Reggie Jackson Rookie #260 SGC NM+ 7.5. Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson earned his nickname "Mr. October" through his power-hitting exploits with the New York Yankees. His three home runs in three consecutive first-pitch at-bats in Game 6 of the '77 World Series cemented his legacy in pinstripes. But Reggie got his MLB start with the Kansas City Athletics in 1967. Once the team moved to Oakland, Reggie's reputation as a clutch hitter emerged. Three straight World Series titles with the A's (1972 to '74) provided the spotlight there. Offered is Jackson's 1969 Topps card, which shows him sporting his Athletics uniform. This example of card #260 is found in Near Mint+ condition with vivid color, snow white borders, four solid corners and a clean reverse. Graded SGC NM+ 7.5.
