1968 Topps Test Baseball Plaks Jim Hunter, Jim Wynn & Al Kaline Complete Panel. 1968 Topps Test Baseball Plaks Jim Hunter, Pete Rose & Al Kaline Complete Panel. The Topps test series called "Baseball Plaks" from 1968 has remained an extremely rare and seemingly uncirculated promotion where supply will never meet demand. The prized contents elude even the most veteran Topps test specialist. The Plaks were actually plastic portraits and name plate bases issued in 3-player panels. Just like model car and plane kits, the heads and name plates were removed and snapped together created a stand-up head about approx. 2" high. Offered is a complete panel featuring Jim Hunter, Jim Wynn and Al Kaline. One of a selection of intact panels being offered in this auction. All are in excellent-mint or nicer with slight rubbing spots on nose tips.Auction Info
