1968 Topps Test Baseball Plaks Harmon Killebrew, Orlando Cepeda & Frank Howard Complete Panel Plus Rare Wrapper. The Topps test series called "Baseball Plaks" from 1968 rank among the most scarce test issues. As an uncirculated promotion, today, find the plastic gems you can imagine coming across one of the wrappers made to house its prized contents for retail sales. This wrapper and the plastic stand-ups elude even the most veteran Topps test specialist. The Plaks were actually plastic portraits and name plate bases issued in 3-player panels. Just like model car and plane kits, the heads and name plates were removed and snapped together created a stand-up head about approx. 2" high. Offered is a complete panel featuring Harmon Killebrew, Orlando Cepeda and Frank Howard. Also included is a 3-color wrapper that presents at the excellent level with no tears and creasing as issued.Auction Info
