Description
1968 Topps 3-D Willie Davis PSA Mint 9. Topps had a field day testing out various projects with a wide assortment of treatments to enhance sales. In 1968, a new graphic style called a "Xograph" or simply "3-D" effect was used to produce 15 cards which likely never saw any distribution beyond the Topps offices. Today these cards are found with blank (the more common version) or stamped backs asking for copies not be resold, but returned to Visual Panographics, Inc. This nearly perfect card of Dodgers outfielder Willie Davis has no obvious flaws, earning it's PSA Mint 9 assessment. A very scarce high grade example from one the nicest Topps Test issues of the late 1960's. Only fifteen graded higher.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
