Description

1968 Topps 3-D Tony Perez PSA Mint 9 - Only One Higher. In 1968, it seems the 3D effect didn't seem to go over too well or was too condition sensitive, but by 1970, the 3D card was born and could be found in boxes of Kellogg's cereal. There are rumors of cards being sold in stores in Brooklyn (the home of Topps) in '68 but the known supply sneaking out the back doors of Topps and/or Xograph employees seems to be very plausible as well. Our offered card features a star of the "Big Red Machine - HoFer Tony Perez. He is the only other HoFer than Clemente to appear in this set. Graded PSA Mint 9. There are sixteen graded MINT with just one higher from a total pop of seventy graded by PSA.
